With the election in a few short days, here are some ways that you can get plugged in in Columbus:
Get Involved! Monday (10/29) at 6pm @ 82 East 16th Ave: Jump into the trenches with the justice reform movement at our Intro Meeting. We'll be canvassing and phone banking for Issue 1 and sharing our stories. Don't know about Issue 1 yet? We'll give you some background!
Get Educated! Tuesday (10/30) at 7-9pm @ Hale Hall: Join a lively discussion about how mass incarceration and addiction impact our communities at our Town Hall on Issue 1 with our partners at NAACP-OSU.
Get Lit! Wednesday (10/31) at 6pm @ 82 East 16th Ave: Put on your best costume and come Trick-or-Treat for Issue 1!
Get on Stage! Thursday (11/1) at 8pm @ the Pelican Room, Lower Level, 122 E Main St: Listen to some of the best poets and musicians in the city at our Liberation Open Mic. Got bars? Sign up to perform!
Get Fired Up! Friday (11/2) at 6pm @ Curl Viewpoint: Watch the critically acclaimed documentary "13th"by Ava Duvernay with our friends from Platform and NAACP-OSU. It's guaranteed to get you fired up to do something about mass incarceration!
Get Chatty! Digital Phone Call-a-Thon for Issue 1 November 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th. We'll be hosting digital phone banks in the evening to tell people about Issue 1. Sign up for a shift here -- you don't even need to leave your room!
Get to the Polls! November 6th we have a chance to change our state by voting YES on Issue 1! If you would like to help us out by talking to voters at the polls on election day, you can sign up here.
